What can I expect from the treatment process?

1. Consultation
During this session, I'll explain the procedure and discuss your desire brow shape. I'll also conduct a small patch test and review your medical history to ensure the treatment you've chosen is suitable for you.

2. Initial Eyebrow Treatment
I’ll map and outline your eyebrows to ensure you’re completely satisfied with the shape before beginning the treatment. The procedure can typically take up to 4 hours, depending on the chosen technique.

3. Touch-up
During this session, you'll have the chance to discuss any changes or just refresh your look. I’ll also provide you with aftercare tips and guidance to keep your brows lasting for longer!
Before coming to your appointment
There are a few things to consider prior to your appointment and it is crucial that you follow the guidance so that I can give you the best result.

One Week Before Your Appointment:
Avoid plucking, tweezing, waxing, or performing electrolysis on your brows.
Refrain from taking fish oil or vitamin E supplements, as these act as natural blood thinners.
Two Weeks Before Your Appointment:
Do not tan or expose your skin to UV rays.
Avoid using any facial peels or exfoliation treatments.
Discontinue the use of vitamin A or retinol-based products.

Avoid engaging in activities that cause excessive sweating.
Do not consume alcohol or caffeine 24–48 hours before your appointment to minimise bleeding.
Avoid taking aspirin or ibuprofen for pain relief, as these can thin your blood.
Stay hydrated!

Do not have Botox treatments within three weeks of your procedure. Botox can be done either 2 weeks before or after your appointment.
If you use fillers, ensure they are done at least 6 weeks before or after your treatment.
Be aware that women may experience heightened sensitivity during their menstrual cycle.
For darker skin tones the results may not appear as bold due to the natural pigmentation of the skin.
What you can expect after your treatment?
Dark eyebrows
You may be in shock seeing your eyebrows immediately after the procedure because the pigment may appear darker than expected due to the skin’s natural reaction to the pigment. But as the skin begins to heals, the pigment often lightens to its final colour which can take a few weeks to see the results (depends on individuals healing process).
Redness & swelling
You may experience some mild redness and swelling in the area is usually most noticeable immediately after the procedure and can last from a few hours to a couple of days.
You can apply cool pads and this will help to soothe the skin and reduce inflammation.
Tenderness & sensitivity
Due to the minor trauma caused to your skin during pigment implantation, the sensation is usually mild and this should go over a few days as the skin begins to heal.

Showering Guidelines:
Have short showers to minimise exposure to the steam
Keep your brows dry and away from water while washing your body and hair.
Avoid excessive rinsing or using hot water on the treated area.

Pain tolerance varies from person to person, but many clients find that the procedure is less painful than they anticipated. While clients may expect discomfort, most are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and relaxing the experience is.
We can use a topical numbing cream throughout the session, to ensure that you are comfortable.

Semi-permanent makeup is not suitable for the following individuals: pregnant or nursing women, those with excessively oily skin, lupus, autoimmune system disorders, keloid scarring, individuals on steroid treatments, those with active skin or blood disorders, advanced diabetes, or eye disorders (for eyeliner).
If you are undergoing chemotherapy or have other health concerns, please consult with your doctor or specialist before proceeding.

If you are on prescribed medication(s), it is required that you get a GP’s note. This is to ensure you are medically fit to have semi-permanent makeup done without compromising your medical condition.
Blood thinner medications i.e. aspirin, ibuprofen can affect pigment retention.

Yes, you are responsible to book a patch test for applicable treatments. This is to ensure your safety and help to minimise any potential risk.
For SPMU:
If you'd like to use a numbing (i.e. Emla 5%) product, you are welcome to purchase it yourself at your local pharmacy. As your artist, I am not legally allowed to purchase or apply these products for you.
Please note that the responsibility for applying the product will be entirely yours before the procedure. This process ensures both your safety and compliance with legal regulations.

An annual colour boost is recommended to maintain the vibrancy of your semi-permanent brows, but not everyone may need it.
If your brows haven’t faded significantly, a boost might not be necessary. I encourage you to reach out so I can assess your brows and determine if this treatment is right for you.
