What to Expect at Your Brow Consultation…

eyebrow tattooing consultation in bristol

Have you been thinking about semi-permanent brows but not sure where to start? Well, that’s exactly what I’m here to talk about and why you should definitely go — even if you think they’re a complete waste of time…

For many ladies that walks through the door, especially those who are experiencing with sparse or thinning brows it’s not just about choosing a treatment but more about feeling comfortable, and educated about semi-permanent brows.

This September, I’ve been offering free consultations as a way to give more ladies the chance to come in, meet me, and if you missed those days — don’t worry my consultations are always available, as they’re an important step before any treatment.

Why you should go to a consultation

Every client is different. Your skin, your natural brows, your lifestyle, medical history etc — all of this plays a part in which treatment will work best for you. A consultation gives me an understanding of what you're looking for and how I can help you… and whether you will be a good candidate for semi-permanent makeup because not everyone will be, unfortunately. So, understanding more about semi-permanent makeup and what options there are can help you make better informed decisions, whether you decide to go for it or not.

A consultation with me usually lasts around 30–45 minutes and here’s what I cover:

  • Brow concerns: Learning about your brow story, your concerns — are they thinning, sparse, over-plucked, or lacking definition…

  • Assessment: I’ll take a closer look at your brows, skin type, and overall face shape and discuss about medical history (if you have any)

  • Options: I’ll explain the different techniques and what I offer (powder brows, machine ‘nano’ hairstrokes, or a combination) and which one might suit you the best and your lifestyle. Also, how they will heal and what you can expect because that’s the most important thing!

  • Mock-up: I’ll draw several styles on your brows - just to give you a ‘visual’ idea of what having them done could look like, following the natural shape of your brow structure.

Why it can take up to 45 minutes (sorry not sorry…)

If you’re considering getting your eyebrows tattooed — a consultation isn’t something that I want to rush on. There are so much information that you need to know and understand before making a decision, because it is a BIG commitment both emotionally and financially. But you do get some that walk through the door and know exactly what they want, while others need that extra time to talk things through — either way, the consultation is the first step. Also, you might have lots of questions about medications, aftercare etc., and I want you to leave feeling confident and giving you all the information you need so you feel informed, no matter what you decide to do.

So, by the end of your consultation you’ll:
✔ Have a clearer idea of which treatment is right for you or whether you’re suitable for it
✔ Understand how your brows will heal and what results to expect
✔ Feel more confident and comfortable about your decision
